Cookies problem

    Hi guys,

    i have problem with getting right referral ID.

    Not sure where is this problem coming from, i tried to set cookies to 0 and i’m sure i have no caching plugins, tried to get id with shortcode and also php directly but with no luck.

    When i open affiliate link url/?affiliates=2 and then change url to url/?affiliates=3 and load it, it still shows referrer ID 2 until i refresh page again, then it loads correct number 3. And the same after, if i change to 4, it shows 3 until i refresh second time. It looks like it’s still one session behind.

    Do you have any idea how to fix this, i’m going to use this plugin in referral competition so people will visit more affiliate pages.

    Hi,

    Maybe it’s because the value won’t be taken into account until the next page load when the shortcode is rendered but the cookie value has already changed. Try to check the cookie value in your browser directly, you should see it changed.
