I have indeeed an image on the other website.
Here’s how looks this image settings
It’s a broken image icon though the dimensions are the same (and name slightly different).
As for the blog directory, I’m not sure where to look.
I checked in /wp-content/upload/sites but there are no images there

I digged further into the problem and found out that the image returns a 404 error caused by… I don’t know what.
Whenever I try to copy the source image, this image will be at
http://le-chemin-du-butterfly.fr/en/files/2016/02/photo.jpg
but this url is a 404 though I don’t know why…
I opened another question on this, but I have the same problem with one of many sites. Your URL is/was being written incorrectly: /2016/02/201602photo.jpg when it should be /2016/02/photo.jpg

No, it did not yet get resolved – but we couldn’t reproduce it and also didn’t hear anything on this again. So we hoped it resolved itself. 🙂

Nop, I must say it didn’t get resolved by itself despite many attempts…
In the end, I had to turn my back from multilingual, not because of the plugin though ^^.
