Copy Entry option not visible

    Hi, i was following the documentation about creating family entries where it says to first create an individual and then copy that entry to change name, date and add relationship. However after i created an individual entry, i dont see the option to copy the entry.
    I am running wordpress v5.3.2
    Please update me on how to do the copy entry as this is stopping me from further proceeding with using the directory.

    Actually i just wanted to add some extra fields on spouse name, DOB, Children name DOB etc etc as part of personal info of the individual.. Is there a way to add a custom field from the setting of the plugin? couldnt find any such option.. I am not aware of Php and so wouldnt want to be playing around with the coding to achieve this. Please advice.

    That feature has been temporarily deactivated because it was learned that it could cause data loss. I think I have that bug fixed but it has not been thoroughly tested at this point. When it has, the feature will be enabled.

    Sorry, no, there are not settings to add custom fields, this must be done with code as describe in the developer docs.

    Thanks Steven for the update.
    But do you have any idea when this feature would be tested and out? Is there any other easier way to add family without the pain of entering all the same data fields?

    Sorry, no, honestly, I thought it would have been released by now.

    Well, there is the CSV Import addon. You could import all the individuals and then all you would need to do is build the families in the admin.

    Also, it is possible to use the CSV addon to build families. Some find it very hard to do this using the CSV while some find it easy. If you decide to go this route and would like to know how to build families using the CSV Import, I can give you instructions. Importing the individuals requires no special instructions and is straight forward to do.
