I’m trying to copy an element (text, heading, etc.) within an Elementor page, but after pressing CTRL+C or selecting “Copy” from the menu, the Paste option does not become active, and CTRL+V does not insert the copied element. The Paste Style option in the menu also remains inactive, and it’s not possible to paste the original element’s style onto another element of the same type.

    What setting am I missing?

    Thank you,
    Alex

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting us.

Here you have full documentation about the copy/paste feature – https://elementor.com/help/how-do-i-copy-elements-from-one-site-to-another/

    Hope this will help you.

    Kind regards

Thank you, but this description doesn’t help. As you can see in the video, I’m not trying to copy an element between two websites or two Elementor pages, but within a single Elementor page. Please watch the video.

    Thank you

The problem was caused by a stuck Chrome cache. Once I cleared the cache, everything worked fine again.

    Thanks
    Alex
