Copyright text / pasting custom text doesn’t work

    Hi,

    I can’t seem to enable the copyright text / pasting custom text.

    I can confirm both options are enabled and text is present in the “copyright text” and “custom text” fields.

    However, when attempting to copy and paste from the site, it pastes whatever was in the clipboard prior to copying the text i.e. it’s not actually copying/pasting anything.

    1. Please clarify the problem you are experiencing by providing us with screenshots for a better understanding of the case.
    2. Provide us with screenshots of the options of the General and Options tabs so that we can understand the settings configuration.
    3. Provide us with the link, where the copy protection is enabled and the following problem can be found for further testing.

    Hi,

    The copyright text/custom text is not working when using copy and paste.

    See below – the options are selected.

    The “copy” protection works, because nothing can be copied from the website.

    But if you try paste, the custom text is not there.

    The website is reinasia.com.

    Thank you for your reply.

    I want to mention, that in order these options can work for you, you need to untick the Disable CTRL-C/CMD-C and the Disable CTRL-V/CMD-V options.

    Also, we checked and noticed that you are using Cache plugins.
    So, please make a DB backup for your safety (you can use UpdraftPlus).
    Then, clear all the caches.

    Make sure the cache is excluded on the page where the copy protection is enabled.

    After clearing the caches, please try to check the case with either the Incognito mode or another browser/device.
