    Hello,

I purchased the Core+ bundle and have installed the main all-in-one event calendar on my WP site which uses X theme from Themeco. All the research I did seemed to show these to be compatible, and they mostly are: calendars show up on the front end correctly, events can be managed on the back end properly, but…

When the the calendar plugin is active, X theme’s page builder (cornerstone) loads a blank module. That is to say it loads the page builder UI, as well as the header and footer of the given page, but the body content (what is to be edited within the page builder) doesn’t show up at all.

Disabling the plugin makes the page builder display properly once again.

At this point I’ve asked my client to invest money in the Core+ bundle, which I suggested they buy because of how great it is and especially because they require being able to create events by syncing with Outlook. I haven’t found any other plugin that has this functionality, and I don’t want to ask my client to invest in another plugin anyhow, so if there’s any way to get this working properly that would be amazing.

I’m happy to provide WP login credentials in a private message so you can test. Thanks!

  • Hi,

This is obviously a conflict between our plugin and X theme’s page builder, if I understand correctly, the only way to edit the site is to disable the plugin? When you activate the plugin, changes you made with the page builder are still there or?

Yes, the only way to edit pages using the page builder is to disable the plugin. Changes made while the plugin is disabled remain in place, so it’s really just a matter of being able to edit pages / create new pages while the plugin is active. If most of the content were static it wouldn’t be that big a deal, but my client will need to make frequent tweaks and they’ll need to use the page builder to do so (they’re not developers at all).

All that said, I’ve read accounts of people using this plugin and theme together just fine, so there must me something specific about this configuration that is causing the conflict… I just don’t even know where to begin.
