Hi, I noticed just now that there is a waiting time of around 3 seconds on my quizzes before the correct answer is shown on a multiple choice question. It was significantly shorter when I created these quizzes last year. Is there anything I can do to accelerate this so that the user will instantly see if his answer is correct or not right after choosing it? The waiting time is the same on mobile and pc btw.

    Dear @swisspro,

    Thank you for your topic.

Now, for each answer, an AJAX request is sent, so there can be a short delay while waiting for the response.

Previously, this was not handled via AJAX, which is why you did not notice the delay before. The plugin code has been updated since then.

At the moment, this delay also depends on your server speed and how fast it responds.

If you want to avoid this waiting time, you can disable the Show correct answers option from the Settings tab.

Also, you can send us your quiz link, and we will check it on our side.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Thank you.

    Dear @hyenokian

Thank you for your answer. I will try to find a solution, since 3 seconds of waiting time is just too long and I need the correct answer to be shown. The quizzes are available here: https://www.pilzmesser.ch/teilpruefung-1-giftpilze/

    Best regards

    Dear @swisspro,

Thank you for your reply and for the provided information.

As a temporary solution, we can suggest downgrading to Quiz Maker version 6.7.0.65, which works the old way.

You can also contact us by email to stay updated once a permanent fix is available.

    Thank you.
