Correct password fails

    Entering the correct password for a CPT page fails on our intrantet site. Getting the message:

    “Sorry there was an error”

    Tried changing password, clearing both browser and server cache (using WP Engine and working on the Development server with cache booster disabled). Tried the steps in KB but that did not work. Using the latest free Version: 4.2.29

    If I understand correctly you are trying to add the password protection in the page configuration, but the validation fails even when using the correct password.
