Could not connect to wordpress API

    Hi! I am having some problems with activating the siteground security plugin.

    It used to work fine previously but our website got hacked and something has changed.

    Now it says that it cannot connect to wordpress API

    Hello @shawnlimws,

    First I would recommend ensuring your site is clean and secured since it has been compromised.

    Once done, please ensure no restrictive directives are added to the .htaccess file that could prevent our plugin from being activated.

    Additionally, you can check if another security plugin is already installed that can conflict with ours. In that case, you need to decide which one you would like to be installed because having more than one security plugin on the same site is not recommended.
