Could not create directory

    I cannot upgrade wordpress, I cannot upload a new theme. In fact, for everything I try and upload on WordPress, I get this error message: Could not create directory.

    What is going on? I even tried to do this all manually, and still does not work…

    Try changing the permissions on the wp-content directory to 766. If you still have problems, try 767, 775 or 777. Once your uploads are working, change the permissions on wp-content back to 755 again and check that everything still works OK.

    Thanks for all your help, however I tried all these permissions and still no luck. Still having the same problem 🙁
