Hi @caordawebsol, glad you’ve reached out! Were here to help.

That error message indicates that Solid Security is having issues contacting the site due to failing to discover the REST API root. The specific error cURL 28 means the operation timed out. This is usually server-related and here are some steps you can take to resolve it:

The first thing I’d recommend is to check with your hosting provider if there are any network/firewall issues that could potentially block the requests from Solid Security Site Scanner IP: 67.227.194.4. If it’s blocked, please have them whitelist this IP. While at it, have them check your server logs for related errors (you may send them here). It’s also a great idea to have them confirm that your site is accessible and that the cURL library installed on your server is functioning correctly.

Next, you can also try increasing the cURL timeout value using a custom code suggested here. If unsure, please ask your host for assistance.

I’d also recommend checking for a conflict using the steps outlined here if the above did not help. Check your Site Health Info for any clues related to the REST API or site connectivity.

Hope this helps, and let us know how it goes!
