    Hi!

    I installed Complianz freshly and in the wizard at the point “Cookiedatabase.org” is says “Something went wrong. Could not load field cookiedatabase_sync. Try again”.

    But the button “Try again” doesn’t do anything. What can I do?

    Thank you for reaching out and for your feedback.

    We have checked the REST API on cookiedatabase.org and discovered that it was down. We have now restored it and double-checked everything inside the plugin to ensure it works properly.
    If you still see the issue, please clear your browser’s cache, it should work right away.

    I am experiencing the same issue as Rolf @rolfkrueger had, namely with Complianz freshly installed the wizard reached the point “Cookiedatabase.org” is says “Something went wrong. Could not load field cookiedatabase_sync. Try again”. Also after reding this post I cleared the cache unfortunately has not resolved this issue for me. I tried the cache clearing a couple of times too. Is it possible the REST API has gone down again?

    Thanks a lot for your feedback!

    The REST API of cookiedatabase.org is working correctly at the moment. However, this error can sometimes occur if your language code includes a dash (e.g., pt-pt) in the language selector. If that’s the case, simply changing the language code should resolve the issue.

    Also, since the original thread was closed months ago, we kindly ask you to open a new thread for further support.
