    Hello @hubertkramarz

Thank you for reaching out to us, we are here to help.

I reviewed your checkout page and see that the WooCommerce button is getting displayed when you select our PayPal payment method; this should not be the case. When you select the PayPal payment method, this WC button should be replaced with the PayPal button. If this does not get done and the customer uses the WC button to proceed on the payment, they will get the error you encountered.

The button replacement is performed by a JavaScript, so we expect that another plugin or the theme is blocking this JavaScript from performing its task. You may want to perform a full conflict test to rule out eventual issues with the theme or a different plugin. We recommend temporarily activating the default theme Storefront and disabling all other plugins except for WooCommerce and PayPal Payments to see if the behavior persists.

Here’s a guide that explains the steps in more detail: How to test for conflicts.

Please let us know how this helps you to isolate the cause of the problem and resolve the issue.

    Kind regards,
    Joost

    Hey Joost,

I think that I have the same problem. The WooCommerce Payment Button as well as the PayPal Button is displayed. When someone clicks the WooCommerce Button, it doesn’t work.

Could it be, that due to a caching plugin and the .js for the button is delivered through a CDN?

Which Files do I have to exclude from Cache / Optimize CSS & JS as well as exclude from the CDN for it to work properly?

    Our webpage is: https://reefweine.de/

I get the same error: paypal buttons no longer show up – only the standard woocommerce button which generates an error that “the order can’t be retrieved” by Paypal. This is DEFINITELY a problem with your latest update (version 2.1.0) I just reverted back to Version 2.0.5 and the problem disappeared (I used WP Rollback plugin to revert to the earlier version of Woocommerce PayPal Payments). Please resolve your bug in the update of the plugin and let us know when we can update to the latest version.

The issue reported in this thread was found to be caused by a custom checkout page from the Elementor Pro plugin. The details have been clarified through a private support ticket, and the resolution needs to be provided by the Elementor team. Therefore, I’ll be marking this thread as resolved.

For those of you who are not the thread starter but need help, please create a thread for yourself.
We’d like to remind you that posting unrelated issues on someone else’s thread may not get the attention it deserves, hence the need for your own thread. Thanks for your understanding!
