  • Hi,

We looked and we can see your sitemap loading here https://stickit.lt/sitemap_index.xml. What Google is saying is wrong.

    We suggest the following actions:

    1. Clear all your caching from your theme, plugin, server, CDN like CloudFlare or browser. If you are not sure how to clear caching from theme/plugin please speak to those authors. If you want to clear cache from the server, please speak to your host provider. To clear the cache from a browser use this guide: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-clear-my-browsers-cache/.

    2. Delete your sitemap in Google. Doing so will not hurt the SEO of the site. This guide explains more (scroll to the bottom): https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/183669?hl=en.

    3. Submit the sitemap again. Be sure to submit only sitemap_index.xml and nothing else. This guide explains more: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/submit-sitemap-search-engines/.

    4. Edit your robots.txt to remove your sitemaps. This guide explains more: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-edit-robots-txt-through-yoast-seo/

    5. Monitor the results to see if more pages get indexed

    Thank you for your reply.
The new console sometimes shows ‘Pending’ as ‘couldnt fetch’ incorrectly. It was bug from google search console

Can you confirm whether the “Couldn’t fetch” status has been resolved?

I dont know if its be resolved already, or it still shows “couldnt fetch” instead of “Pending”
But I know that this problem has been reported to google

Google Search Console requires that you submit the sitemap to the domain property that matches EXACTLY to the URL in the sitemap. Your site load with https and does not include www. Are you submitting the sitemap to that format? Or is the property using http and/or includes www.

https://example.com – This format should be used in your Google Search Console property

If your Google Search Console property is any of these formats, please add the correct format, delete the sitemap from the wrong format and submit to the correct format.
