Hi I’ve seen this problem in a few other threads and have gone through as much trouble-shooting as I can on my end before posting here.

I’m getting this error message when I try to update an existing sidebar (specifically add location). I have another site and am not having that problem there, so I know it’s not a browser issue.

The custom sidebar options for “posts” does not show up in my dashboard on this site, only for pages. I am not sure how recent that is.

I also did a P3 – Plugin Performance Profiler scan which shows custom sidebars at 89%.

I have deactivated every recently-installed plugin with no change.

I’ve enable the wp debugging feature but I’m not savvy enough to understand what to do with that information now that it’s enabled.

If there’s something I can do on my end or any info I can can send that would help me solve this I would appreciate it.

    thank you!

  • Hi @mel2337,

Sorry to hear of the problem you are having.

Could you please share me the exact error message that you are getting by copy pasting it here and also tell me where you are getting it or just share the screenshot of it here so that i can troubleshoot it?

For screenshots, you can simply provide a link to an image through Google Drive, Dropbox, screencast.com, http://imgur.com/ or other image service. 🙂

Do you mean the “Sidebars” metabox is not getting displayed for the posts but getting displays only for pages?

    Please advise.

I also did a P3 – Plugin Performance Profiler scan which shows custom sidebars at 89%.

We are working on it to improve the performance of the plugin. See the following reply posted by the plugin developer.
