Couldn’t use JQuery inside the template

    Couldn’t use jQuery inside the templates or functions.php. when we trying to write jquery code inside the custom page template or functions.php, getting the “Uncaught SyntaxError: Invalid or unexpected token” in the browser console.

    If i deactivate the plugin, issue is solved.

    I don’t see the relationship to the plugin. What do you want to insert into the functions.php ?
