Yes, you can enable total shares along with bit.ly url. Let us know if you meant something else.
To clarify my question, I know that I can enable total shares along with bit.ly, but all those bit.ly shares are never counted. Counters only display number of full URL shares which have not used bit.ly shortening.
Are counters able to check for number of bit.ly shares?
Unfortunately, counters are not able to check number of bit.ly shares for now. We will try to include this feature in the plugin ASAP.
