Hello,
no, the counting shouldn’t change with the lastest update (version 1.5.0). Did you change any configuration after the update? Do you use the hook statify__skip_tracking to change the tracking behavior?
Hello,
no, I didn’t change the configuration. I installed a new theme, and with it there came a few plugins. I try to figure out if there’s something not quite right.
Are there any known issues with other plugins?
Hello,
I don’t know any issues with other plugins.
Changing the theme might affect counting if the statify__skip_tracking hook was used before and placed in your old theme’s functions.php.
Is the tracking via JavaScript option active?
Hello,
same problem: exploding views and counting of feed and robots.txt since the last update. No change of the theme, no JavaScript option, no use of the hook. I just selected the new option „Ignore tracking for referrers that are stored in the comment blacklist“. Now I deselected it – and hope for the best…

The new option is only usable, if you have items in the blacklist to filter this from your tracking list. But this have no context to the feed, robots.txt tracking. In this context we haven’t changes on the plugin.
Hi nicorola and kretschmerb,
we found a bug: Indeed the feed etc. were tracked if the tracking via JavaScript option is not enabled. We’ve published a bugfix release today.
Yes, everything works fine again – thank you!
