Also make sure that you are using a facebook app id and it should be working fine without any issues.
After facebook latest api changes it gets more complex to get a correct share count. This is not the fault of MashShare. The social networks are not interested any longer in returning correct share counts so we have to be tricky to get useful data.
Having the same problem. I already tried everything from both of the 2 links that you provided for troubleshooting. They stopped working after the update

Same issue here. I haven’t posted in two weeks so not sure when it stopped counting the shares. I saw that yesterday when posting a new article on my blog after two weeks of inactivity.
Can you have a look and see if an update should be made? I was the first one to let you know that the plugin was not counting the shares anymore last time. (End of Augusta I believe when FB made changes)
