Counting is off

    I tried the plugin on a CPT but the numbering is off, it starts at 3 and sometimes the link to the footer with the full list continues where the inline footnotes stoped, so in thext they are 3, 4, 5 and the footer starts at 5 :/

    Any idea why that would be happening?

    I am sorry but I am not quite sure what do you mean by CPT – is that some plugin or custom made custom post type ?

    Are there some steps to reproduce the problem?

    Hi and thanks for the reply.

    I used ACF Pro to created a CPT “Bookchapters” and then used Gutenberg on the individual posts of that CPT, just like you would with normal posts.

    Checked the problem and it looks like it interferes with Yoast plugin – there is a new version 3.8.1 of the footnotes – please update and try with it.

    Any feedback is appreciated.

    Hi,

    thanks for the update, it fixed the problem BUT I was not. running Yoast. Either way, it fixed it 😉

    Yeah – avoid it if you can 🙂

    Anyway – long story short – with just ACF CPT and Footnotes everything worked as expected, then I decided to start adding plugins and found the exact same problem when yoast enabled, that’s why I’ve guessed.
