    Hello,

We’re running latest WP and WC at our test site and running into an issue with the visibility of countries in checkout form.
We’ve set European countries in WC settings and the default country to Österreich (Austria).
But if you are in checkout, you’ll have all countries in and not set to store country.
Please advice how to get this up and running like expected.

    Thanks & regards

    Hi @beelounge,

There are just a few things we’d ask to clarify so that we can get a more complete picture of what you wish to achieve vs what you already have.

We’ve set European countries in WC settings and the default country to Österreich (Austria).

Just to be sure of the particular WC settings, kindly share with us a screenshot of where you’ve set up these countries. I can recommend using snipboard.io to share the screenshot.

    Hi @abwaita,

    OK, here we go.
These are the settings in Woocommerce:

And that’s what we get in the checkout page:
    https://snipboard.io/XQMqON.jpg

So there should be only the countries listed in checkout which are selected in WC.
Also the default should be the store country.

    Regards

Thanks for sharing the screenshots @beelounge.

You will want to check if the issue is caused by a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.

The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

Let us know how it goes when you do the conflict test.

    Many thanks.

    Hi @abwaita,

Thanks, your suggestions did the trick and we’ve figured out the “bandit”.
It’s the N Media WC checkout fields manager, already contacted them.

In that case we can close this request and mark as resolved.
    Thanks for your support!

    Regards
    Hermann
