Coupon Code Entry Pop up not working

    Hi there!

    I’m testing LifterLMS functionalities and I’m facing an issue with the coupon code.

    In the checkout page, “Click here to enter your code” is supposed to bring a pop up for coupon entry, but that is not happening. I have created coupon in backend.

    Is there a known resolution for this please.

    @nilakantasrinivasan,

    It’s possible that there is a Javascript error that is preventing the code from running properly.

    Can you help diagnose this issue by following the step 3 at https://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Using_Your_Browser_to_Diagnose_JavaScript_Errors. This will show you how to open your console and, if we have a JS error, it will be reported here.

    Please make sure you’re on the latest version of LifterLMS too (2.7.12)

    You can also send me a link to a course and I can take a look at the checkout page to see if I can identify the source of the issue

    I’m on lifter 2.7.11 and WP 4.0.13. Is that ok?

    Just to update we have resolved this issue temporarily.

    There was a conflict with Contact Form 7, a popular wordpress plugin. We had to disable that for this to work.

    It would good to find a permanent fix for this as Contact Form as essential to capture the enquiries.

    Thanks for tracking that down and sorry for the conflict. I’ve added this to our 3.0.01 milestone and will track it down and report back here as soon as it’s resolved. You can follow the issue at https://github.com/gocodebox/lifterlms/issues/223 if you feel inclined but isn’t necessary.
