Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro, I’m really sorry for the issue you are facing here.
By default Paid Memberships Pro discount codes will adjust the level’s cost text upon the checkout page once a discount code is applied.
Would you mind telling me what theme you are currently using? Does your theme come bundled with Paid Memberships Pro?

the actual amount for the coupon code.
if the code is for the whole price then checkout via payment gateway should be hidden if possible
Thank you for the feedback, could you please test a discount code and set the amount to 100 and see if that changes the level’s price to 100?
The discount code replaces the amount and does not deduct the amount within the discount code settings – I am not sure if this is what could be happening.
If you want to set the level to be free, you are able to set the discount amounts to 0.
