I see,
could you try the development version, please.
Hello, Soft79 and guezs.
I have exactly the same problem. So maybe my info could be useful, if you try to fix it right now. Sorry if it’s not.
After installing the development version the link with &apply_coupon=test_coupon on the end acts to the empty cart. It is like no products wasn’t added to the cart.

For now, please use this plugin and use ?fill_cart= instead of ?add-to-cart=.
Guezs, for the variations, you can just use ?fill_cart=2994 (no need for &variation_id and &attribute_type)

fill_cart works, thank you 🙂
It’s great! Thank you, Soft79.
Soft79, I was having the same problem and so I installed the other plugin that you suggested, and it’s not working. It wont add the coupon at all, whereas the original plugin was adding the coupon but only after the second time the link was clicked. Is there a way to get either of these to add a product to the cart with a coupon automatically applied?

Christopherkerry, what versions of WC, WP and my plugin are you using? Please provide a link to reproduce the issue.
WooCommerce – Version 2.5.5
Wordpress – Version 4.5.2
WooCommerce Extended Coupon Features – Version 2.3.3

You don’t have the other plugin installed. And once installed use fill_cart.
I did install the other plugin and it didn’t work so I switched back. Maybe because I deleted the first one assuming the second one was supposed to be used in place of it rather than in addition to.
I now have installed both plugins and used fill_cart, and it’s kind of working, except now its saying “Coupon code already applied!” above where it says “Coupon code applied successfully.”

Ok nevermind, it seems to be only displaying the “coupon already applied” message when i’m logged in as admin. tried in an incognito tab and it appeared to work fine
