    Hi,

    I have set up course access plans for several of my courses. Some access plans expire after 1 week, others expire after several months.

    Where can I see the expiry date for courses when I (admin) add the student directly to a course from the course page. As in this case it doesnt create an order.

    I’ve hunted around, but cant seem to find it.

    Any guidence would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

  • @sczs,

    When you add a user manually you are not selecting an access plan (you’re just enrolling them) and as such there is no expiry date.

    If you want to take advantage of automatic expiration via an access plan you should have your users enroll themselves into the course using the access plan that you’ve setup to configure this automatic expiration.

    In the future I plan to add functionality to allow you to create an order (using an access plan) from the admin panel so that you can add a user to a course via an access plan but I haven’t built this out yet.

    Hope this helps,

    @thomasplevy,
    Thanks, that makes sense.
    I assume it is the same case for coursea that are auto-enrolled using a membership?
    As always; thanks for you help and support.

    @sczs,

    Courses that users are autoenrolled are not identical to manual enrollment via an admin.

    When a user is automatically enrolled into a course their access to the course is restricted based on the access granted via the membership — if a user expires from a membership (due to the membership access plan) and they were granted access to a course through autoenrollment from that membership they will be automatically removed from the course as well as the membership.

    Does that help?
