Hi, I have a CPT called ‘discover’ with the following settings:

    public: true
    publicly_queryable: true

In Yoast > Search Appearance > Content Types, I have enabled Show in search results for this CPT.

All the CPT posts are published, public, with the individual settings set as default (allow indexing).

Yet my sitemap_index.xml does NOT contain the link to the discover-sitemap.xml (which does not exist anyhow).

I have the latest version of the Yoast plugin and WP, I have several other CPTs as they all work fine and appear in the sitemap.

I am not using any cache plugins.

Can you please tell me what should I do to put the CPT back into the sitemap?

    Thank you!

As usual, I find the solution the minute I post a support ticket.

I found a ‘wpseo_sitemap_exclude_post_type’ filter which excluded the ‘discover’ sitemap buried deep down in my functions.php.

    Sigh and sorry!
