CPU overload due to big database request

    Hello,

    My website was very slow since few days, i send a message to the support team and they said that the plugin make this request :

    Votre site xxx.com fait la requête suivant qui utilise trop de CPU du serveur mutualisé : SELECT * FROM wp_wsal_metadata LIMIT 291000, 1000;

    Thank you for your email and sorry to hear about your problem. Quick question; by any chance do you have activity log archiving or mirroring enabled?

    Also, are you noticing any specific patterns when this is happening?

    Thanks for your answer, yes I have activity log archiving enabled (6 month old, 300k lines in wp_wsal_metadata)

    We’ve looked into the code and the only time we use such type of query is when you migrate the activity log events to / from the external database.

    So did you run a migration to / from an external database?

    Yes you are right, I backup my database every days so the problem come from the backup plugin, Thank you very much for your help !
