In all my websites that I install this plugin, I can’t access wp-admin page it keep writing that, there is a critical error on this site, check admin email for instruction, I have to debug the site and discovered that is from this plugin, it stopped when I rename the plugin from CP.

So my question is, what really happened?

Thanks Dan for reporting this. What’s the exact error message? Maybe you have a screenshot too?

There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions

Thats what I see when I access my wp-admin page, I have to deactivate your plugin from CP for it to stop

    Hi @dan471

Could you please let me know which PHP version you run?
Also what was the change you did in your plugin (from -> to)?

We don’t know any other case that could be similar to your issue.
Our plugin does not modify any wp-admin functionality it’s disabled outside our settings.

    Thank you!

version of PHP (7.2.34), this is what I see in the admin panel

I didn’t make any change in plugin,

I think your plugin was interfering with Ultimate membership plugin that I use for registration and login, that’s just my thought anyways

    Hi @dan471

I tested it using PHP 7.2 with plugin “Ultimate Member & Membership Plugin”.
Also tried to make full backup then process with restoration but no issues detected.

Could you please let me know if you can enable the plugin or it happens when you do something?

    Thank you!

    sorry for this
i just discovered that it was wp-clone-by-wp-academy and not your plugin that is causing the error

    Hi @dan471

Oh, that can be real reason as wp-clone may not work on all modern sites.
It’s because the codebase here is quite old.

As the issue is solved now, let me close the topic.
If you will need any help with our plugin feel free to open new topic 🙂

    Thank you!
