When I installed and enabled this plugin, the theme I use (MetroMAG theme) crashed
How the theme crashed?
Can you enable WordPress debugging, install the plugin and let me know the issue/error displayed?
To enable debugging in WordPress, open “wp-config.php” file (located in your WordPress root folder) in code editor, search following code:
define('WP_DEBUG', false);
and replace above with following:
define('WP_DEBUG', true);
Save the file. Once you have noted the error/issue, undo the changes made in “wp-config.php”

I have some idea about why the theme crushed now. Your plugin has this social sharing part. When I enable social sharing, those social sharing buttons get embedded into the slider control on the main page of the theme and that distorts the appearance. I don’t think there is a bug in the code. Just the alignment is broken terribly because of this embedding.
I disabled the social sharing and the theme works now but all I can use is the social login facility now. To solve this issue a specific modification for the theme seems to be neeeded which I don’t assume you would be willing to do.
Try unchecking the “Excerpts” checkbox in “Sharing location” option at “Social Sharing” section in plugin settings page.
