Create a dynamic sub-categories menu

    basicly i dont want the menu to show any padding to the left or right.

    instead of the menu to cover 100% or #content or making it 500px..
    i want the menu to be large if theres tons of sub-categories and small if there is not so much..

    help will be highly appriciated, tnx 😀

    – on another note, is there a free way to make an background image insdead of plain colors

    Hi benb1,

    Do you mean you want the width of the sub menu to change based on the content within? If so, that is not possible, as the contents do not have a defined width themselves. E.g. an image could be 100px wide, or it could be 1000px wide, or text could be displayed on one line, or multiple lines. It is the container (the sub menu) that determines the width of its contents, rather than the other way around. Instead, you would need to use the custom sub menu width option to set the sub menu widths on a submenu by sub menu basis. That is available as part of the Custom Item Styling functionality in Pro (as well as the background image functionality). There’s no functionality in free which does the same thing as it is a Pro feature.
