Create a product gallery

I am trying to create a product gallery similar to this: http://www.cupomnow.com.br/ofertas/sao-paulo for an affiliate site. No checkout needed. Just some type of database that store the product info and a way to put the info in and pull it out in a pretty manner. I’ve been told that tables were not the way to go. If there is a plugin or some type of outside of wordpress option that I could display in wordpress or the like, that is all fine. I don’t want to directly code the data into the web page since that would be very inflexible.
