Hi @jamminjames
Thanks for using MetaSlider. Do you have an example of what you’re aiming to do? You want to the slides to move vertically with the navigation on the right side?
Yes, this would be in a sidebar, so the slides would move vertically. The navigation arrows would probably need to be on top and bottom, I would think.
Hi @jamminjames
We wrote a short tutorial on how to do this in MetaSlider. I hope it helps: https://www.metaslider.com/vertical-slideshow/
I followed that tutorial, but the slider is still horizontal. I cleared website and browser caches.
I tried various width and height settings for the carousel. Your example shows wider that tall, is that correct? I tried the other way around, and it just moves the vertical center of the carousel down, but the slides still go horizontally.
Also, not sure if you realize that what I’m looking for is a way to display the carousel so it goes down the page, in a skinny sidebar. So, not just that the slides change vertically, but the whole carousel is not very wide, but very tall. So, you would see several slides displayed vertically, just as you can see several slides displayed horizontally in a normal carousel.

@jamminjames Yes, it’s possible that we don’t quite understand your goal here. Do you have a screenshot or example of what you’re looking for?
Like this plugin. Was hoping not to have to install another plugin, though.
Thanks @jamminjames
I’ve opened an issue with our team to see if they can look into a vertical carousel effect in an upcoming release.
At the moment, our carousel feature is horizontal: https://www.metaslider.com/create-image-text-carousel/
Great. Judging from the small size of the plugin I sited, I would think it would not be too difficult, and would be a big plus for your plugin.
Thanks @jamminjames. Yes, I agree. We’ll see if we can do it soon. Thanks for the suggestion.
