• Hi

I installed MU and i created some blogs so i have 3 blogs

    /
    /blog1
    /blog2

in the root I installed 4 plugins (wp-mage) but when i am in the dashboard of my blog1 i cant see those plugins (from the parent)

any idea ? what i am trying to do is instead of buying several domains to have one domain with many subdomains as a blogs and each blog will hold several post on specific niche like blog1 will be on sport and blog2 on pets

  • Plugins for sites (ex blogs) have to be installed (extracted most of the time) in wp-content/plugins such as wp-content/plugins/my_plugin for my_plugin.
You should see them as super_admin and you should see them as admin of one of your sites if option plugin menu is activated on network.
There is no where a directory structure such as /blog1 or /blog2.
If / is your main site root, that is where .htaccess and main index.php are located, wp-content/plugins is /wp-content/plugins.

And you may have to enable the Plugins menu for the blog admins.

If you are logged in as the Super Admin, you will see the Plugins menu in the admin area of all sites.
