    Can your plugin in help with the following:
    I want to make a gallery based on search terms (tags assigned to the items) so that every media item uploaded could be included in the gallery if it matches the tag. The user interface would be a button with the tag name, but the results would be dynamic. Sorry if this is too obvious. I am making an artist website and I have a lot of images in my media library. I would love to have a standard gallery that is generated by the category tag and updated automatically.

    We’re not going to have anything specialized to help with this exact usecase, but we are able to do the obvious of register post types and taxonomies for you, via UI. We also include “attachment” for the available post types to register taxonomies to, and that would be the build in post type that powers the media library. Beyond that, how you implement and use everything is more on your plate.
