This seems funny, this isn’t your font you’re using regularly? Does this only happen in the “create event” field? What are you using Win/Mac, Chrome/Safari/IE?
How did you get the upcoming events on your user profile?

This is happening In create events and add results from frontpage. But not in admin.
I’m using safari on Mac 10.11 with standard font
Did you try to change the theme in WP Athletics, looks like you using the blue one. I use the gray and it doesn’t happen, I guess font settings are theme specific.
I just changed it to the grey, but it still is impossible to read what you write
Did you once deactivate, delete and reinstal per ftp? Sorry that’s the only additional advice I can give you right now.
On my side it’s the font’s are working fine in all themes.

I changed the theme and it works fine now.
