Create link on sidebar question

Sorry for the newbie question.

I am using Mesozoic theme and want to add a link under navigation on the sidebar to my ZenPhoto Album page.

I go into write page to create a page but what do I put into the editor. If I put Photo Gallery. When I click on Photo Gallery on the sidebar I get a page with the photo gallery link to click.

How do I make it so when I click the sidebar, it automatically goes to the html page I’m referencing?

You open up sidebar.php and hard code the link in there? If the page isn’t wordpress created, you’ll have to either use the links feature or hard code it in there where you want it.

I guess I can hard code it into the sidebar somewhere or create a link that would get added to the blgroll section.

I really want it in the navigation section and that section is created using the wp_list_pages.php. Short of hacking into that file I was hoping there was a way of creating a page that links to a static php file (like the zenphoto index.php).

What about just hard coding the link inside the div where list pages is, only right below or right above it?

Again, if it’s not a wordpress driven page, then it would take HEAVY hacking into the file to do what you’re looking to do, in order to have it list anywhere other than above or below…

What about using the Redirectify plugin?

Redirectify sounds like it could work.

I’ll report back after I get off work and can try it.
