Hi Jonathan,
there is no support for Viking here. If you have just a few marker and Viking does not work for you, you can also create this files with a simple texteditor.
You can use KML files or GPX files. Eg open this files and modify it to your needs by any texteditor:

Okay thank you but can they have labels/text when you hover over them or click on each marker. This is for a private geocaching adventure for a client.
Thanks,
Jonathan

Hi again,
I have uploaded the file you provided to test it and used the shortcode and I am finding it very confusing. I have uploaded both .kml and .gpx files and used the shortcode and nothing is showing up.
Is there something I am missing? I am following the directions in the plugin. I am trying to create multiple waypoints with markers and descriptions.
The test site is here: http://jabbragency.net/ia/weareallbeekeepers
This is the shortcode:
[osm_map lat="39.259" lon="-74.832" zoom="2" width="100%" height="450" gpx_file="http://jabbragency.net/ia/weareallbeekeepers/wp-content/uploads/test2.gpx" gpx_colour="green" map_border="thin solid green" control="scaleline,mouseposition" theme="ol_orange"]
I don’t want a route but just waypoints.
Thanks
Jonathan
