Create New Post link in "My Posts" widget

    Hi,
    I think this is a great plug-in. Though I have a question. I installed the “My Posts” widget. It appears on all pages. However, when I click on the “Create New Post” link, I don’t get to my Frontier posting that allows a user to enter a post.

    But when I create a “special” page containing the [frontier-post] shortcode, then click on the “Create New Post” link in the widget, it works great and I get to the page to create a post.

    Is there a way to configure the widget such that regardless of what page I am on, I am able to create a post? Or is this designed to only work from a page containing the shortcode?

    Can the “Create New Post” link link me to the special page with the shortcode?

    Hi,

    The widget is designed to work on any page. It will redirect to the page set in Frontier Post settings – which should be the page containing the frontiet-post shortcode

    This is now possible in version 2.1.0 where a new parameter has been added to the shortcode

    [frontier-post frontier_mode=add]

    If you insert this shortcode anywhere in a page, the form for adding a post will be inserted
