With the mass issues of emails not sending well from the forms to emails, I think that WPMU would benefit from creating their own WP Mail SMTP type of plugin.

Hello @jmeyer2485,

We thought this would be better suited under the white labelling of WordPress and that is why we already have a built-in module for SMTP in our Branda plugin. You can find the plugin here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/branda-white-labeling/

We do have a few more options for customising email headers and templates too in that. You can find the documentation for the same here:
