Create slideshow from within post???

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I’m looking for a plugin that will let me create a responsive gallery from within a post. Most of the plugins seem to allow you to create the slideshow from their own static window and then you have to paste the shortcode into the post.

the other option id be interested in is to hardcode a jquery or js slideshow into a “gallery” post format. so anytime you choose the “gallery” format and images you choose would be displayed in a slideshow. is this possible?
