Create Staging without media

    Hi, I would litk to create a staging site without the media. How can I get this done?

    Hi Patrick,

    You can easily exclude the uploads folder during the cloning process—please refer to “this screenshot” for guidance.

    An even more efficient option available in WP STAGING PRO is to symlink the uploads folder from the live site. This way, the staging site will use the live site’s uploads folder directly, without the need to clone its contents—saving both time and server resources.

    Thanks for the help. it has been busy all night to create a staging, but it is still at 57%. Any suggestions?

    You can click on the “Cancel” button to cancel the cloning process. Please contact us via this form with your site’s system information from (WP STAGING > System Info) and we will help you from there.
