Hi,
Booster plugin does not use Adobe Flash, is it possible that this issue may actually be caused by some other plugin? Could you try disabling other plugins as well?
Sorry, I don’t really understand your reply. Can you clarify what Adobe Flash has to do with the error?
I’m not really able to disable all plugins on a live shop. I have tried creating a staging site however, the staging site doesn’t allow anyone to access the front of the website – therefore I can’t test the error as it is to do with a new customer account creation. Thanks
Hi,
Sorry for confusion. When I clicked on your screenshot I’ve been greeted with an error message stating I need adobe flash player which I assumed was part of the screenshot since adobe flash player is not normally required for images. I am now unable to load the screenshot because it is gone from the webpage. Could you share it again?
Hello – Yes it is a screencast (video) showing you what happens.
Yes, sorry – the first video accidentally was deleted.
Please see this link – https://www.screencast.com/t/YbW8XNqW
The video shows new customer ordering (no account existing in the system). There is an error created although no details of what the error is, BUT at this point, an account is created – therefore the new customer tries to place the order again but is told they have to login. This is very confusing for new customers who know they have not ordered before and therefore should not have an account.
I have gone through WooCommerce support and we have diagnosed that this error only occurs when the Booster plugin is enabled.
Thank you for looking into this.
Hi guys – this is now critical! I am having SO many clients not order because they can’t get an account set up.
WooCommerce Support wrote this:
By the way, I checked the log files saved in WooCommerce > Settings > Logs, and there’s one critical error repeating several times during the last few days:
2019-05-20T05:02:41+00:00 CRITICAL Uncaught Error: Call to a member function get_billing_email() on boolean in /home/madamefo/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-jetpack/includes/functions/wcj-functions-orders.php:62

This error is triggered in a plugin called Booster for WooCommerce so I’d try to deactivate just this particular plugin before everything else to see if it solves the problem. If it does, you can let the plugin authors know about this error using their support forum:
Can you help!!!
I am using SO many Booster features that it will cause a major disruption to turn it off.
Thanks in advance.
