Creating a drop down menu!–HELP

Hi. So I am trying to create a drop down menu on the main navigation area. I have created the main navigation. For couple of menu o the main navigation, I want it to have a drop down menu. I created the menu by creating a page, and created a subpage. So when I mouse hovers over the menu, it brings up the subpage which can be clicked on. However, when you click on the menu item without hovering over, it just takes you to the page which doesn’t have any post. How can I get it so that the menu cannot be clicked on but when you click on it, the drop down items appear.

When you hover over ‘wanders’ from the primary menu, ‘U.S.A’ shows, but when you just click on ‘Wanders’ it takes you to ‘Wanders’ page which has nothing and I just want a drop down menu when ‘Wanders’ is clicked on.
