Hi, Looking to add a basic link using the WP Bakery backend.

I tried the shortcode but it doesn’t work. I was able to get the font to load but can’t seem to link it. The entire thing is erased when I update using the text field editor.
    Tried this:
    <i class=”fas fa-linkedin-in”></i>

and this too (figured this would work but it was worth a shot.)

    <i class=”fas fa-linkedin-in”></i>
Finally, looked at it with the front end and it doesn’t even show up to select and link it.

    Thanks in advance

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi @ginhut. It sounds like you’re trying to use the WP Bakery plugin to work with Font Awesome icons, rather than using this plugin to load Font Awesome icons. WP Bakery approaches Font Awesome icons in its own way that does not currently involve this plugin.

And if you have both this plugin and WP Bakery installed, that might cause some compatibility conflicts. But it sounds like your problem has primarily to do with usage of the WP Bakery editor. Unfortunately, I can’t help you with that.
