• I have been trying to use abase to layout a business directory. It appears abase may do the job but the code explanations are inconclusive for me so far, all functions are shown but assembly and styling is unclear. My goal is to have a page displaying a 3 column business directory each colum is titled by a category. Each of the 3 columns 3 will need to contain the records “contact, category, company, address, website, phone”. this data needs to show as 2 fields returning down the each of the 3 columns. so a left and a right then a return to the next row followed by the next record.

I am trying to work out how to style the layout, make the website column a hyperlink. At this stage I can only get the table to load the columns. Any suggestions on methods would be fantastic. I’m sure i’m not the only one suffering from a lack of understanding of the full ability of abase at this point. Some more sample code would be very helpful but is hard to find.

    [abase table=”WEB” columns=”contact,category,company,address,website,phone”]

    Regards
