    Hello

Up until recently, I had been using the Shortcodes plugin to offer a button on my site which redirects site users to a ‘scope of site’ page without a forced login. Further to updates to this plugin and the release of a separate premium version requiring payment, the code I had previously used is no longer working and I can see that my own and other users’ support requests on the ww.wp.xz.cn plugin page are not attracting responses. I would therefore appreciate advice on choice of an alternative plugin to meet my need.

In case this is helpful, I am including the previous code that I had used below as follows:

    <p style=”text-align: center;”><strong>[su_button url=”https://medstats.mvm.ed.ac.uk/scope-of-site/” style=”3d” background=”#782def” color=”#FDFEFE ” size=”10″]Logged in already or want to skip logging in? Click here![/su_button]</strong></p> .

While the code is allowing redirection to the desired ‘scope of site’ page once a user is logged in, it is no longer possible to use this code to avoid a login.

I look forward to receiving suggestions as to how to move forward, possibly using an alternative plugin.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

There are many shortcodes plugins. Which one do you mean exactly?

Okay, @threadi; thanks for clarifying that. The plugin I had been using is called Shortcodes Ultimate.

    So this: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/shortcodes-ultimate/?

I can’t find the code for the button there either (anymore). I’m also not aware of any plugin that somehow replicates the functionality you described.

From my point of view, you therefore only have 2 chances:

    • Contact the pro support of the plugin and ask if it is included there. If so, buy it.
    • Find an older version of the plugin where the code is still included and develop your own plugin from this part of the plugin, which contains the function you want.

If you need support for the latter, you can find it here, for example: https://jobs.wordpress.net/

Thank you for your interest @threadi. I had done some groundwork on the existing plugin before posting my message. Hopefully, someone with the relevant experience will be able to offer advice on choice of an alternative plugin without doing any research, which I am otherwise happy to do.
