Creating a Split page (2 column) without table border(s)

I am using the Weaver ll theme and Antique Ivory sub theme. I would like to create a page or pages that look and act the same as the 2 column page template in Word. (Full size page W/no side bars. Is there a plugin or some coding that will allow me to do this.
