I think I’m using 4.8.1. I’d like to know how to create a submenu selection to my “Blog” selection that hyperlinks to my two WP blogs. I no longer want to have posts actually ON my fpdorchak.com site, but want the menu selection under “Blog” to hyperlink to my two blogs, “Runnin Off at the Mouth” and “Reality Check.” Can’t figure this out.

    Reality Check: https://fpdorchakrealitycheck.wordpress.com

    Thanks!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

On the Appearance->Menus page in the dashboard, use the “Custom Links” box on the left to add custom menu items to your menu. If that box isn’t visible, click “Screen Options” at the top of the page and check that checkbox.

I did that…I entered the URL, entered a link text–and all fields just cleared out when i selected “Add ti Menu”–didn’t tell me what to do next or anything. I looked around for what I’d “created” and found nothing. I need more direction, please.

OK, I messed around with it some more and I can’t even BEGIN to describe what I did…but I figured it out…. #CaseClosed. :-]
