Creating multiple podcast feeds

    Good afternoon, Is is possible to create two RSS feeds from powerpress?, the reason I ask is that some applications would benefit from having multiple podcasts in the feed and others (such as Alexa) would only need to be fed news from the current day. To summarise I would like to submit >10 news stories to iTunes or other directories and just the latest 1 podcast to Alexa to avoid the device reading old podcasts

    Hello @wfieldhouse,

    YES!

    I think what may work for you is category podcasting, possibly in strict mode, possibly not. Strict mode just keeps episodes from accidentally getting into multiple categories, but you may want them to cross categories. All episodes will still funnel into the main podcast feed, giving you the “catch all” feed.

    There are other ways to add multiple podcasts with PowerPress (Post Type Podcasting, Taxonomy podcasting, Podcast Channels) but based on your example Category podcasting makes the most sense.
