• Hi.

Learning from multiple tutorials, I have gotten half way decent at creating my own unique dynamic sidebars and areas in a template page. Basically, if I want a page to have a sidebar that is unique from the “generic”, I create a page template (new file) and assign it it’s own sidebar.

However, I came across a template that brought this to another level and I would like to learn how to do this or at least begin learning. Basically, within the template panel it seemed that you could create a sidebar (name one) on the fly and then connect it to any page (not template page)you want.

I’m thinking this is cool. And would love to learn/better understand how this is being done. I like having unique sidebars and having desiginate another template page for each one seems very cumbersome.

Can anyone tell me where there is a good tutorial explaining this to me?

    Thanks

Although, this will stunt my learning to code myself. I found Widget Logic, a great plugin for this. It will also promote me learning more about conditionals.
